Esimon Imar (pronounced aesimon emar) means destined day in the ancient Hellenic language. The band was formed in 2004 by George Gogas and Despina Katsouli.
Their musical style varies between electronic and Hellenic ethnic music with melodic songs composed and arranged by George Gogas and sung by the seductive mediterranean voice of Despina Katsouli who also writes the lyrics. Their first CD single was released in September 2006 by Soulincident.
